Frequently Asked Questions About Merchandise and Services


  • Why can I not return a video if I do not like it?

In the early days of Multimedia Merchandise, we allowed a product return for any reason.  We found that there were a few abusive customers who would order a tape, copy it, and then return the original for a refund.  We now only accept a returned tape if it is defective.

  • Why do we ask for a full name, email address, and telephone number on the order form?

These fields are required by the credit card processor.

  • Why is my credit card billed before the merchandise is shipped?

Because the Order Center does not stock any merchandise....merchandise is "drop-shipped" from the vendor to the customer.   And, the vendors will not ship merchandise until payment is in-hand.

  • What do I do if I never receive my merchandise?

Fill out the Trouble Report Form with the particulars of your order.  If at all possible, please include the order number you received in your confirmation.  You will not be required to pay for merchandise that you never receive!

  • Will I be solicited at my email address, postal address, or telephone number?

Your personal information will not be used for solicitation, and we have asked the vendors not to solicit you either (please let us know if they do).  If you have specified on the order form to be notified of Website updates via email, and we will send a periodic notice to your email address.  If you do not wish to receive updates about Multimedia and Video sites, then we will remove your email address from our newsletter list if you CLICK HERE.

  • What if I place an inquiry and don't get answer?

We respond to every request and inquiry.  If you receive no response, it is because you gave us a bad email address to respond to (this happens frequently).

  • Why is an email address important?
  1. The credit card processor requires an email address in orders.
  2. Our personal ads require a valid email address to prevent others from stealing identities and posting offensive email to other personals users.
  3. When you ask us to look up your Subscription Access ID that you may have lost or forgoten, we will only email the ID to the email address with which the ID was registered to prevent the theft of your ID.
  4. Some email carriers simply do not reliably deliver email (such as Hotmail).  Before chosing an email provider for yourself, you may wish to read about Domains with Unreliable Email.
  • What are NTSC. PAL, and SECAM video formats?

NTSC is the video encoding scheme used in North America and Japan.  The rest of the world uses PAL or SECAM.   For a complete list of countries, CLICK HERE.

  • Mail and FAX Orders
